The NBA All Star Game will be held in Los Angeles this year. For Kobe and Nike this meant a special shoe to honor the event. Nike produced the Nike Zoom Kobe VI "3d" to commemorate the event. The 3D got its inspiration from Hollywood and all of the 3D movies that have been coming out lately. The Zoom Kobe VI is all about Kobe's Black Mamba persona. The outer of the shoe is textured with Black Mamba-like skin. For this special shoe, Nike made the snake texture blue and red similar to the way 3D pictures are made. When you look at the shoe with 3D glasses it will pop out at you. There is no set release date but with this photo it looks like the shoes will come packaged with a set of 3D glasses.
